I’m from a small town south of New Orleans, Louisiana. I know most people don’t think there is anything south of New Orleans, but I’m living proof. I moved to Texas 22 years ago after meeting my husband and together we raised 3 beautiful children and several loyal dogs.

My journey to becoming a professional Virtual Assistant began when my husband became ill and I was suddenly needed at home to assist in his care. My profession at the time made it impractical to work from home, so after much thought and input from a close family member, I began researching the nature of the virtual assistant role. I quickly felt that being a virtual assistant resonated deeply with me as I’ve long held a passion for assisting others in making their lives easier and more practical. Through my research, I found AssistU and began my training course.

Prior to virtual assistance, I was a business owner and office manager. I oversaw and actively contributed to sales, human resources, basic accounting, tax filings, SEC accounting and filings, press releases, database work, construction division assistance, estimating, marketing, assistance in web site design and marketing materials, mailings and travel arrangements.  It’s fair to say that I wore any hat that was required!

I bring 30+ years’ experience into my practice. I am well versed in all areas of expertise required from a virtual assistant, and I am confident enough to brand myself a veteran of this industry, ready to take on any challenge you throw at me. My vast experience comes from employment and business ownership in the oilfield industry, commercial and residential service industry and residential property management with extensive accounting and administration experience.

As a long time business owner, I had difficulty in delegating work to others. “Letting go” was always a difficult thing for me to do, but one day I realized I could not do it all.  It wasn’t easy, but necessary. I know now, that delegation is the most important aspect of being a business owner.  So here I am, ready for you to delegate your excess work to me.
